MAX AC Stop Blowing Fast
I have a 2014 Honda CRV EX that I just bought. We were at the park and had high temperatures. As always I put the MAX AC on to cool the car off for my daughter. It was working fine as it always did. We were driving and then it just stopped blowing fast. I figured maybe it stopped when it reaches a certain temp. Nope. Let car sit for a few hours then over night. It blows air equal to speed with the regular AC button. But there is no "more power" faster blowing when MAX AC is on. Any ideas what it could be? Yes it does blow out cold air.
I dropped the glove box. I checked the cabin filter, brand new and didnt feel anything around there getting stuck. Is the recirculate intake right above the air blower? If so may be the issue. With AC OFF that intake door stays close when I press recirculate button it opens, great. When I put on AC and or AC MAX the door open remains open until I turn either AC off. Even pressing normal ac and recirculate off and on door remains open.
I just left our new Honda dealership. They said everything is normal. For 2014-2016 models have the same unit there is no pick up with air on max ac.
They even pulled a 2016 to show me. It did not pick up. My wife and I know it was blowing faster and just stopped out of no where because we both looked at each other like oh no what just broke.
So I am lost.

I don't remember my wife's ac ever being good😯😬😱 but came across this thread as it's 100 outside and I can't get this car cool. Any updates?
