Where can you put bars?
ok front and rear strut and front and rear sway, but where else can you put bars in the crx? i wanna make the car more stiff...... any place that makes more bars or a places on the car where you ca mount custom ones?
You have aftermarket Sway bars correct? the aftermarket sway bars are real nice, they are a bit beefier than stock ones. As far as more bars, You can add a rear lower Tie Bar, Neuspeed sells them, and I am sure their are other cheap companys that sell them as well. I could of swore a friend of mine used a 92-95 civic rear tie bar on his crx with no problems.
Also, what kind of upper strut bar do you have? You would be suprised on how much differnt brands actually help out, those cheap ones off ebay sometimes really suck and hardly do a thing. But Neuspeed/sprint bars that are 1 peice stiffin it up ALOT!
I am going to be making a custom front one for mine, that is similar to this bar.

ok i got some for u if u are gonna make custom ones, or if u want me to make them im in so,cal , i have made them for a few peeps and they like umm , for a crx we put a bar going from one side to the other were the top part of the seat belt bolts to, and in the back back part but still inside there are 2 nuts that hold on your back bumper they are under the panels, we put one bar there to, and i have made one in a gutted crx that was connected to the top seat belt bolt to the rear strut bar in a x pattern im tryin to get pics i have also done rear seat belt bars for ef hb like the eg's have.
please post pics. i'd be interested in some. do you work for spc performance?
Cusco and JIC make front lower tie bars.
A-Sports makes fender support bars.
you can also get trunk braces like itr.

Well, there's always the obvious. If you add a rollcage or rollbar, that stiffens up the car as well. I've got an Autopower 4-pt rollbar, and it did a pretty good job of adding additional stiffness (already had ST sways and Neuspeed front and rear upper tower bars).
I remember seeing bars that ran along the width of the car, right behind the seats. There are plenty of options, but you will start to run into diminishing returns, as well as bruised kidneys
, if you do all of 'em.

after looking at JIC's strut bars, it seems like they bite Cusco's designs.

why do you want to make the car more stiff?
Is it for a racing application? there's very few legal options, depending on your class. So, adding too many braces might not be very viable.
Is it for a street application? If so, do you really want to be driving around a car that's uber-stiff?
Want a car that handles better? forget all those crazy braces. They don't do much for handling (short of anti-sway bars).
If you just want a harsh ride that is "stiff", get 400lb springs front and rear, get some good shocks and replace your bushings with polyurethane bushings...or if you really wanna go crazy, find some solid metal "bushings" and insert them where the rubber is.

I am going to be making a custom front one for mine, that is similar to this bar.
