Default Question regarding rear trailing arm bushing installation.

2000 civic on original bushings. The main rear trailing arm bushing is shot; caused a tire to wear out prematurely with cupping wear damage.

Planning on buying the tool to replace the bushing. I've been reading a lot of DIYs on how to do it. But I'm still unsure about the clocking alignment of the actual bushing into the arm.

I've been reading to use a straight ruler to mark the original orientation of the bushing; but I'm assuming that the current orientation of the bushing it is in is for when the car was at stock height. I am currently at a mild drop of 0.75-1.00". Would the orientation of the bushing need to change in order for the difference in ride height?

Mark it with the car sitting on its wheels. Use ramps or whatever so you can get under it. Then click the new bushings to that angle.
