I'm pretty sure you can just control it with the idle screw

Pretty much where I'm at is I k ow the procedure of disconecting the iacv setting it to 450 etc I am going to be raising it so I'd set it at 600 or 700 with it disconnected my issue is if I do this am I going to have codes thrown and the ecu battling to keep the idle to the factory level

Root Cause Analysis. WHY is it vibrating so badly?

Not 100% sure but I have another thread about the vibration and we are chalking it up to the avid mounts

Sub'd. I have filled mounts on my integra and they are great everywhere, except when the idle dips. Basically at idle, in drive, when the AC compressor engages. In hindsight, filled mounts on an autotragic was a dumb idea lol, but if I can raise the idle a smidge, they should be okay.

Wow, I feel pretty foolish now! I have no idea why I haven't thought of this yet and have been living with a major vibration at idle...

I have also dealt with an automatic with a low idle speed and filled mounts / polyurethane everything produces quite a buzz. I think I have 4 brackets holding in the wink mirror so that it is at least slightly useful!

Thanks! Even us experienced old timers can miss simple stuff every now and then.

Supposedly there's a torque sequence for tightening your mounts. I've heard that if you tighten them in that sequence it makes a huge difference. I use Hardrace mounts so I didn't need to do that, but some of the mount kits out there are just stupid hard. Do you have a Factory Repair Manual? I remember seeing the sequence in there.
