ek hatch had h22 swap, now going b series. transmission bracket help???
i recently got an ek hatch shell it had a welded bracket on the passenger side chasis, could this be used or does it need to be cut off. i have a b18 swap that is going in.

Just unbolt it and use a chisel/dremel to break through the crap welds. My car used to have an H22 in it and that bracket is supposed to just be bolted on.

will i still be okay in terms of installing the b series bracket/mount or would i need to re weld anything?

Assuming they didn't break the welded nuts on the inside of the frame (leading to them having to weld the bracket on in the first place) - NO you do not need to reweld anything. Your new B-Series transmission side mount will bolt right into the chassis.
