Hello all,

Seller sent me these photos of the rust on the heat-shield, exhaust, catalytic convertor, muffler. There's no rust on the rear wheel panel area. It seems like a common problem in Hondas but I could replace with aftermarket parts. I will also check the trunk since leaks are popular there.

How bad is the rust on this car? and is this a deal breaker?

I was concerned with the rust on the heat shield and the exhaust but based on the responses, it seems like this is normal or its not even a big deal.

no seriously though, what rust? thats one of the cleanest I've ever seen that hasn't been blasted and coated as a show car.

 

Heat shield really? Heat shield kinda has no purpose there at all and exhausts are not expensive - when it rusts enough - thats a good reason to get better one
