Default Best dizzy to use to make tach work?

I have a 99 Civic Ex with a B18c5 swap using a P28/S300 and factory civic EX engine harness. Im currently using a TD-81U Civic SI distributor with an adapter harness for the dizzy and a 99-00 Civic SI gauge cluster. With this setup my factory SI tach is not working. So right now Im just using the Hondata APP to see rpms.

Does anyone know what distributor I need to run without using an adapter harness(for the dizzy) AND will make my tach work? Does that even exist? Or will i still have to either run wires to the tach, jump at the ecu or wire in a resistor??

Basically with using my P28/S300 what is the most easy plug in play option?

First, you MUST use a genuine OE Acura distributor... the aftermarket junk typically doesn't have a strong enough ICM to report to the ECU and drive the tach in the cluster. Second, you need a quality adapter harness at the ECU that has the wiring split to do both jobs. So, your choice is simple: get genuine parts or run wires.
