Default Strange 1st gear shifting problem

Hi, I've been trying to search the answer to this problem for a few years but haven't been able to remedy it.

In general the problem is described as this:

When changing from 1st to neutral it feels like I am yanking the stick out of gear without the clutch pedal fully depressed (it is fully depressed BTW). So from 1st to neutral you get an almost popping sensation. It happens intermittently. I have changed the clutch, master (adjusted push rod also), slave cylinders, bleed multiple times, fitted engine mount inserts prevent the engine movement, even changed the shifter, but nothing has helped so far. I don't get this problem in any other gear.

While googling it seems other people have experienced this problem on other Honda but no one has a solution.

If anyone can shed some light I would be grateful.

Thanks

Year make and model? And off of the top of my head, check your shifter bushings for looseness or obstruction. My next suggestion was going to be internal, such as a bad synchro or synchro spring, shift fork wear, hub wear, there's a lot of things but your shift cable assembly should be checked first.
