Ek/eg shock/struts

Can i put the struts from my ek on my eg?

Front I believe fits fine with a ek fork used as well. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but I believe you need to use a good amount of washers for the back.

This is correct, different sized mounts on the rears but they will work with washers.
