Default 91 camshaft problem

I had a tab break off the end of the camshaft. i have searched the internet for a replacement, but have not had any luck. does anyone have suggestions on where i could find one? its a d15 motor with DPFI.

I could have that tab welded back on, but i don't trust it will hold over the long term.

suggestions?

You could try a junk yard, craigslist, ebay, 'want to buy', etc.

I'd also look into how it was possible that anything on your camshaft broke.

I'm assuming you are talking about the end for the key that interfaces with the cam gear right? I don't see how you could even break the distributor side unless it was with a tool or hammer and not the dist.

correct, it was the keyed portion. It's an all stock car, but it's hard to find stock parts anymore for the older cars.

I will try the want to buy section. I did not think it would be this difficult to find one. Ebay and craigslist was no help in my area.
