i got some vizors and a-spec lip kit and had to put new tape on it.
thinking tape is a tape i went and got some from daiso japanese store
where it stuck it stuck very good
but in many spots the thickness wasnt enough so it didnt stick
it seems like dealer uses a bit thicker double sided foam tape
and it doesnt look like the grey 3M tape that is sold at automotive stores
its a black or dark grey foam tape not light grey. light grey tape is also not thick or sticky enough.
i used thta grey 3m tape and it sucks ***
yes i do have experience 10 years as car stereo installer and all the shops have that crappy tape. customers come back after a week and we end up using pieces that we saved from sat radios.. which also happends to be black foam tape) but i never bothered to find out what it was

anyone works at the dealership can take a picture of the black double sided foam tape please?
