exhaust for 3rd gen
The ThermalRD part #B114-C114
2.25" stainless steel, mandrel bent cat-back exhaust system. It features a straight through design, resonated mid-section, 14" round muffler and a single 4" straight cut exhaust tip. I recieved this info from ThermalRD. I hear that it has a great low mellow tone. I am getting one soon. They sell for around 500.00. This part number fits all 3rd gen Preludes. I can't tell any kind of "earth shattering difference" in performance, but then again I haven't added a header or high flow cat to my 91 Si either. However, it does have great construction quality, and it has a nice low mellow tone to it. Even at W.O.T. you won't sound like a pissed off weed whacker or a jar of angry bees. If I build another import after my 3rd gen it will have Thermal on it.
i was thinking of getting the thermal exhaust, but was hesitant because i didnt know if it sounded like a sonic turd, or if it actually sounded good. thank you guys for the input.
I have a custom made 2 1/2 cat back, mandrel bent uo untill the the back axel peice, wich is pres bent if you want it. Make me an offer. I have an arospeed bomb muffler with silencer at the end. I also have a pacesetter header and down pipe, 3 months old, perfect shape, make me an offer.
