Advanti DST Storm S1 vs. Kosei K1 Racing vs. Drag Wheels DR-21 (Enkei RPF1 Knockoff)
I have an EF hatch and I am looking at buying some summer wheels, either 15x7 or 16x7 and running BFG g-Force Sport Comp-2's. The Advanti's are 10.8 lbs and K1's are 13.5 lbs. I'm not sure about the Drag's, but I know the real ones are sub-10 pound wheels. All of these wheels are in a similar price range, so that is not a concern. At first sight I LOVED the Advanti's and I can't find many pics of them, which makes me want them even more to be a little different than everyone else. Where I am from, there is another EF hatch in a similar color running the K1's, so that kind of pushes me away from those, but not enough not to include them. The main reason for my post is that the Advanti's, which are handidly my favorite wheel of the lot, are made in China and I can find next to no reviews on them, but I am finding stories of the K1's cracking. From what I am reading it seems to happen upon contact in a racing situation, so I am not terribly worried about it as I have yet to even go to a road course once. I just want to be sure that these will be decently durable and I shouldn't have to worry about them so long as I am not autocrossing them or something. On a miata forum, it was mentioned that the molding process of the Advanti's is superior to many wheels and they should be strong, but this person had never owned a set. Has anyone had any of these wheels and would like to share their experience?

I have the Advanti Storm S1's and I love them. They are very lightweight and they look great on my dc2 and not a lot of people have them that I've seen. I've had them for about a year now and been to the track with them 3 times and about 8 track sessions each time and they are holding up very well, no noticeable signs of wear. My one and only complaint of the Advanti's is that they are a pain to clean.

Don't waste your money on the drags. I had a set on a daily for a couple years and they cracked along the lip where the bead would seat due to corrosion. In my opinion, K1s on an EF is one of my favorite combos.
