Drewk909's LS Build
Hello Everyone!
This is my 3rd Integra that I purchased and by far the cleanest!
It's a 1994 LS with 170k on the clock with a fresh paint Job. Overall it's a pretty nice car, but it definitely has some things that need fixing.
Here's some quick pictures from my phone. I will have to go grab some better ones when I have some time.

Don't really want to say what my plan is for the car because there's a couple of different routes I want to go, But I know theirs a quest for more horsepower in the future

And dude I just read your thread are your GSR is super nice! Mine actually needs a ton of the same work you have done to yours.
I'm actually not sure yet how much HP I'm going for because I had a High Compression B20/VTEC to go in it but it ended up having a crack in the #1 cylinder sleeve. So now I'm thinking about turbo lol
I decided I should probably post up some details about my current motor swap situation.
A couple of months ago a good friend of mine named brandon was selling a high compression B20/VTEC motor. He ended up give me such a good deal on it I decided to go ahead and buy it then find a clean shell to swap it into.

I ended taking the head off to put a different head gasket in it but unfortunately for a small crack in the sleeve on cylinder #1.

If I wanted to take the risk I probably could of ran the motor like this since it came out of a running car but to me it's not really worth it. And thankfully my friend is a super stand up guy and has offered to put together another short block for me so it's really not even a problem!
He was actually at the junkyard one day and saw another B20 already pulled and told me about it, So the next day I went and picked it up so we could have a fresh block to start with!

I took the head off at the junkyard since I only needed the short block and loaded in up in the wheelbarrow. I ended up getting the whole short block for around $160, and surprisingly it came with a lightweight flywheel also!

Later that day I got it on the engine stand and tore it all down.

At work we have a vapor blaster. It's similar to a sand blaster but it uses water and glass beads so it's less aggressive and doesn't dig into the metal. But anyways it's great for cleaning up a dirty old block!

So now I have all the parts to put this B20/VTEC back together but I'm unsure rather I wanted to put in it this car or sell it and build a low compression B18 block because I want to go turbo. It's all up in the air!!

Got a couple of things done to the Integra so now I feel comfortable driving it around!
In the couple of times I drove this car I noticed this pretty gnarly smell. I kinda thought it would go away with letting the car air out for a bit since it has been sitting for a LONG time. But the smell seemed to stick around.
I started the quest of destroying the stench by taking out the carpet and giving it a good wash
The amount of brown water coming out of that carpet was almost disturbing haha

I was also very surprised to find this under the carpet!

Yep. That's what I assume as mice poop.
After finding that I decided to look around a little more and found dirt dobbers nest is the A/C vents!

My A/C didn't work anyways so I decided just to take all that A/C junk about behind the dash to get rid of the smell.
Dash Removed

After stripping all the HVAC parts out

No wonder the blower motor didn't work!

Luckily now I have it all back together and the smell is gone!
Also I had a brake pedal that sunk to the floor at stoplights, so I got a new brake master cylinder.
New OEM!

Installed

And now the pedal feels great!

Nice Integra, good luck with your build. I never was a fan of v-tec but I do love the B20B motors. People said I was nuts not going v-tec but I did build a non v-tec Civic that ran a 8.80 in the 8th mile. Never had a chance to take it to a 1/4 mile track to see what it would have ran.
Yea I know you can pick parts up used pretty cheap. But on my last integra A/C kept on breaking all the time so I'm just over working on A/C stuff lol. Plus since I have a daily to so not a big problem.
Haven't posted in a while so figured I would do a Update!
Since my last post I have 100% decided on going turbo. I've been slowly collecting turbo parts but money is my limiting factor so it will take time to get everything.
Here's what I have been working on recently. Venting my valve cover for a catch can! Went with x4 -10AN Fittings. Probably overkill but I figured why not. Also I trimmed off the side, so the cam gears will be visible.
Drilling holes for the AN Fittings

Trimmed it with band saw at work

Welding the AN fittings on

Spraying the VHT Wrinkle Black on thick

The wrinkle starting to show

Ended up sanding the badges down and I'm Pretty happy with how it turned out!

Yeah dude, photobucket doesn't work anymore....
Not sure how I missed this thread before, but that's the best DIY wrinkle black valve cover I've ever seen, it looks factory.
Photobucket works if you have a browser extension that makes the link work. "Photobucket Hotlink Fix" for Google Chrome works great, just make sure you clear your cache after installing or you'll still see Photobucket "**** you" images. But yeah, it would be awesome if everyone stopped using PhotoBucket.
