Steel Grey is a great color. I so wanted to go with the 215/45/16 azenis but needed a tire to get me through the wet summers here in Colorado. Good choices in tires and wheels.

 

anyone know any more about these?

Steel Grey Subzero's gets my vote.

The Grids look really cheap.

I plan on driving with the stock GSR michilins....

If I feel something really bad happenning when/if snow hits, ill get something thats more for snow and keep it on the gsr wheels. I got a few sets so that isnt a problem.

What do you guys think, should I get the cheap combination subzero's? or step up to some SSR Competitions that are gunmetal with a polished lip?

SSR comps are sick wheels but you can't compare the rotas to the SSR's. They cost like three times the amount. If you can afford the SSR's, get them and treat they good.

I would've opted for the Azenis myself but I just heard too many bad things about them in the rain/min. snow.

 

As far as Rotas go, steel grey looks gun-metal and gun-metal looks black. I know, I've had both.

 

You could get the formula-1 SSR comp knockoffs...

12.5lbs in 15x6.5

There was a groupbuy for 16's with 215/45/16 azenis for like $950 going a while back.

Here's a pic of the Subzero Gunmetal on a Prelude. Great choice for the tire.

 

konigs are pretty good quality for the price. i own a set of greenlights and no complaints here.

 

konig, rota, and Commodore there all in the same gang....all 3 come from the same factory in the Philippines.......they make good Imitations ...........just my 2 cents

 

How do the bronze Subzero's look on a black GSR? Anyone know?

 

I know JP got a bronze set on his white teg, they look pretty sweet...i bet they'd look nice. some WRX's run this setup...
