Default Will this overheat my transmission?

2 years ago I installed a Mishimoto all aluminium racing radiator in my 2005 Civic, I also installed a Hayden 679 trans cooler in front of the AC condenser since the Mishimoto rad has no built in oil cooler. A friend who rebuilds transmissions said that the aftermarket cooler alone will not cool it as well as the factory one, and it could overheat Wouldn't the Hayden 679 cooler work better than the one in the raadiator? Thanks.

yes it will usually cool way better than the factory cooler in the radiator, but only if it has some decent airflow to it.
