so i plan on getting a b18c type r motor i need to do a tune up when i get it.. so would the spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor all be the same as the b18c5 motor? i'm asking because the jdm motor has higher compression..

Yes, the spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor button are the same as a USDM ITR... as well as a USDM GSR.

For a stock replacement...the electrode material and plug gap is technically different... true. But you can screw a GSR spark plug into the ITR spark plug hole. Now, if you have say a 400 wheel HP turbocharged GSR and a 400 wheel HP turbocharged ITR... it would be the same plug.

 

OP, if you're referring to a ITR motor swap, replace the usual parts such as water pump, timing belt, etc. You can always replace the spark plugs and stuff after the fact.....when the engine is already in.
