Default 97 civic coupe manual tranny problems

I have a 5 speed ek coupe I'm a beginner when it comes to driving manual so idk if I fucked up the tranny but this is what's wrong when I'm driving in first gear and I give it a little gas cause I like going through gears fast but when I give it gas in first gear then release the gas pedal the car wants to stop but its going to fast to stop I heard its normal in manual trannys so idk and I've done that a couple times by accident and now when I shift gears if I miss the spot from 1st to 2nd or from 2nd to 3rd while giving it gas it sounds like the transmission is moving around like it makes a clak noise like if a motor mount was bad idk what's going on dont really have time to take it to shop so I try to avoid ******* up when changing gears and trying to go fast and also while getting the car to move

That is called engine braking.

The clunk is probably a worn out engine or torque mount.

Ok ok just making sure and it could be a torque mount cause the first time I lowered my car it was way too low I went over a bump a little to hard and ever since it makes that noise thank you

get under the car and try and push your motor up by hand and if it moves with the car your good if it has play its worn and then visually inspect each motor mount
