i want to enable the horn beep on my keyless entry. i know the 98 doesnt flash lights. but it should have the horn chirp with unlock and lock. my remote has no "option" button. owner's manual is telling me it does.. so how do i enable horn chirp without option button?

 

anyone have any idea? ive looked everywhere..

 

Have you try hold both lock and unlock at the same time for 2.5sec?

 

I just tried. did not work. afraid to try panic button this late at night.

replace it with an aftermarket alarm. That's the easiest option. Well...that's what I would do.
