Super strange electrical issues???
Hi guys
I've been driving a 94 Si coupe(Canadian) for the past month and noticed some really strange electrical issues. The car is automatic unfortunately but I have everything to swap it over to manual. So when I first bought the car, I would start it up and when it's first idling, the rpms would go up and down 100rpm and the headlights will get brighter when it does goes up. The battery light will also flicker too. After about 30 seconds it would stop, and it would sometimes happen when I started driving. I brought my battery into a Canadian Tire and had it tested so I know the battery is still good. The high beams also went out after about 2 days of owning it, both sides at the exact same time too. Recently it stopped doing this battery flicker on startup, but now when I'm driving around the battery light will randomly flicker. The front right turn signal will also randomly go out, but then come back after a short while. I've also noticed that this bulb issue happens a lot when the auto tranny takes a long time to shift from 2nd to 3rd. The previous owner told me the alternator was changed within 6 months before me buying it so I can't tell if there's just an overcharging issue.
I took off the DRL module and resoldered any points that looked cracked to see if this would fix the high beam issue but it did nothing. I'm tired of having weird electrical issues and want to get them all cleared up before I put in my D15B turbo swap. Let me know if any of you have heard of this happening before. Thanks!

I have a 2000 honda accord ex 3.0.... last October when weather was getting colder my car was having all kinds of electrical issues an when it was really cold evert time I went to start it I always wondered if my car would start or jus turn over until batter died. When I did finally start it was terrible idle an it would shut off an I would start it an basically rev engine to stay running until it warmed up.....also my transmission would shift really bad so much so I thought for sure my tranny was goin out.....there was alot of different issues an temperature played a huge part......Long story short I replaced all power an ground with way bigger an ofc wire an 99% of all my problems were gone an still are......for sum reason or another honda an I'm sure there not the only ones but the ground strap from motor to battery was only half insulated an the rest was bare braided green old bad wire!! Now y they thought the bare ground wire that goes to bottom of engine were all salt road grime an debris is was a good idea but for a 20 year old car that was one of the worst ground straps I ever seen.....so I replaced all under hood ground an power wires and I also took of all other grounding points an cleaned the wire terminals and wire brushed the frame to bare metal which 99% of all the grounds had paint or at least primer between the wire an frame let's jus say paint is NOT a great conductor of electricity!! Now my car has never drove or shifted or had brighter dash lights headlights etc than it does now!! PLZ CHECK ALLLLLL YOUR POWER AN GROUNDS UNDER HOOD!! clean if not replace all you can an go from there! Im still in the process of finding cleaning and or replacing all grounds around the car an let me tell you there are numerous grounds all over the car not jus talking in the engine bay.........hope this helps some of you bc at first the symptoms jus dont makes sense bc there's soo many an intermittent that it left me stumped for a while I was ready to get rid of the car before last winter bc I refused to go thru the winter with my pos running the way it was or lack there of!!!
