SRS code help - - what is it?
My SRS light came on and it was the seat belt code 9-3, i replaced it with a good belt and the light will still not reset. here is my youtube link to view the video of it, not quite sure what code it is..... any help??
Thanks!
Thanks!
there are videos on youtube that shows you how to disable this light you just need a paperclip under your dash there is a yellow wire 2 pin put your keys in ignition to "ON" position put paper clip in and keep putting paper clip in and out until the light goes off.
i have done all of that, the light will just come right back on after the reset. There is something else going on. I don't know, it just came on one day, found out if was the seat belt, so I replaced that with working one. Still will not reset.
Well, stopped at advanced auto parts, hooked up the scanner.............. YEP, 2 codes came up. 9-3 seat belt and a 4-6 No DTC definition found, see service manual. SO the part I have is faulty, though they said it was a working one, will send that back. We did
clear the codes and restarted the car, then this code popped up as current 1-1 Open/Increased resistance in driver’s airbag inflator. I did shut off and we waited 10 seconds and turn on key and scanned again, 1-1 was not there but the first 2 came back. I guess once I can get a good seat belt harness I hope that will clear everything up. Any advice would be great! Thanks,
