I have a 97 GSR that's dark green. I know that clear tails are usually pretty gay but I think they're ok on a "finished" car. It's lowered, big wheels, no gay spoiler, and a nice kit. I'm either gonna do black housing altezzas or clears. I plan on doing the red led bulbs. I think it looks gay with pink bulbs. It would look all red at night and clear during the day. What do you think?

 

Do what you like man, thats all that matters! I think they might look ok with the oem kit.

 

Do black housing, it is your car, but I would leave them stock.

hummmmm.... well in some states clear tail lights are illegal...

I personally say find a set of 98+ ALL RED integra tail lights!

 

i saw some clear tails on a 96 4 door civic the other day on the 110 fwy by Stadium Way....i was laughing because i was thinking "Welcome to 1997"

What's up with clears, no one has them, everyone has alteza's now. I like the clears on integras, specialy black ones but hey green looks good too.

 

don't they make you put red tape on all clear taillights? Like little squares on them? I seen some cars with red tape on them when they were all clear.

 

Not in NC you just need the red bulbs.

 

Clear tail lights are VERY dangerous.

Buy them, have someone follow your car in the bright sunlight, and see how much he can see your brake lights.

As far as I know the law states that your rear lights must not only emit red light, but also reflect red light.

yep, people here at honda-tech usually do not like clear tail lights, but hey its your car right? so if you ever take pics of your car and post it here, you might get some negative feed back, but hey its your car man. do what you want and what you like. to each his own. good luck bro!
