My daughter's 2005 Honda Civic has had two incidents where after driving about 10 miles it suddenly loses power and will not accelerate over about 40 mph. The check engine lights come on and it "limps" along until it can be left to sit for awhile. The local mechanics have tried changing out the coils, replacing spark plugs, etc. Their monitors show misfires, but have not been able to duplicate the problem we experienced.
