D17A Swap into 2004 Civic Lx. Vtec ECU Pinout?
Hey All,
I am in the process of swapping a JDM D17A engine into a 2004 Civic LX. The original engine is a D17A1 non vtec engine. I already have the Vtec ECU to control the new D17A Vtec engine. The only difference I see is the addition of the vtec solenoid on the new D17A engine. Does anyone have the ecu pinouts for a 2004 Civic ECU? From what I can tell I only need to add 1 wire from the ecu to the vtec solenoid. I just need to know where to tap in the new wire. I do not have the D17a engine harness so I'll need to use the original wiring harness.
If there is anything else to note any suggestions are welcome. I'm aware I'll need to sync the immobilizer to the new Vtec Ecu in order to start the car. Thank You.
