we swapped a jdm b16a into my brothers civic, obd2a, usdm p72 gsr ecu, 1 code CKF because of jdm oil pump
we followed the guide here

and we cant get cel to go away, bypass gets rid of CKF but then we get camshaft sensor a no signal code,
we also tried the "updated version" cutting the blue/red stripe and white/red stripe wires, still get camshaft sensor cel
i dont get it, i used this trick in my 98 EX with b18c swap to pass emissions and it took me like 5 mins to do

 

anyone have any idea? ive re-read the guide what feels like 100 times,re-checked everything, we followed it to the t, right now were runnin b16 on hondata s300 just fine but we need to pass emissions

 

alright so were connecting a ckf sensor to the ckf plug and mounting it by the intake cam gear, then attaching a small bracket with teeth to the cam gear via cam gear bolt, to try and simulate the crank gear, so the ckf can pick that signal up
