99 Accord ex v6 sedan So Cal
Hello all,
So I bought this 99 accord brand new off the lot. Drove it for a few years, then I gave it to my then GF's family when I bought another car.
Unfortunately for the car, it ended up in my brother-in-laws hands. 200K+ miles later, and the car is a complete and utter wreck. The car had sat on my mother-in-laws drive way for months before I asked him what was wrong with it. He of course had no idea and said it was unfixable (?). My mechanic said it needed new engine mounts ( completely cracked through), new drive shafts (tranny boot leaking), distributor caps, wires, plugs. So mechanically its running again at least. Tackling the interior is another thing altogether. Brother-in-law used the car as an ash tray and I believe he has never once washed interior or exterior of the car. I'll do another thread showing just how bad it is maybe.
Mods on the car when I got it back:
Neuspeed strut brace
AEM short ram (Will be removing this for stock soon)
Koni Yellows
Eibach springs (?)
HKS Drager catback exhaust (This needs to go, anyone want to trade for oem exhaust? lol)
This site has been a valuable resource for what is going to be a slow and painful process getting the car back to decent condition. My plan is to get it back to stock as much as I can as the car will be mainly transport for my two children.
