12:5.1 compression on 93 pump
need some inputs so im looking to buy this car this has a fully built 4 piston motor in it if i get the car i wanted to run on 93 pump gas dont want to mess with e85 or race gas the car would just be like a weekend car to go have fun on the streets not ive talked to few diff ppl im getting different answers some are saying that i cant run that car on 93 ill get knocking and detonation will occur others saying i can just has to be tuned right and lower timing, i just want to run on 93 so i just want to knw if i can get it tuned on 93 or not and if i can will it be safe for me to rip it etc and not have to worry about damaging the motor the compression is 12:5.1 heres some of the parts in the build 4Piston K24-K400 2.5L Endurance complete engine

I have a 12:5:1 b20vtec and had it tuned on 94..I think you will be fine as long as you get the car tuned.
Personally i would call 4 piston and get their opinion first as they put the motor together.

i saw that car for sale on fb, red rsx right? **** is pretty much the perfect a/m street car. anyway, you can run 93 with 12.5 just fine. lots of guys do it. 4P built it for pump gas, you can trust itll be fine with pump gas.
