So, I'm swapping my F22B engine in my 1996 Honda Accord with an H22A engine. Can anybody give me any advice on what I need to do? Is it direct drop? Do I need an H series tranny? Do I need h series cv joints? What about the wire harnesses? Please give me some advice if you can!

 

Which F22b do you have? Is your current motor VTEC equipped?

I have the F22b2 non-vtec. I've also been looking at the h23a DOHC vtec. Is that a better bang for my buck? Would that also be a direct drop or would I have to switch up the motor mounts? Would it bolt directly into my f series tranny or would it be a better idea to get an h series tranny?
