Ive been dealing with the most finicky honda, its a 99 ex sedan d16y8 I got the thing for free crank no start, needed an intake manifold gasket, I got the thing running now and tried to replace the tps sensor but the housing broke, there werent any d16y8 tbs at the junkyard so i got one off of a b18, it fit right up hoses and all and on first startuo it idled fine, it was great, but now it just idles at 600 and when you hit the gas the idle climbs like 20 rpms no matter if youre foot is to the floor or not, i adjusted the throttle cable and idle screw but nothing, i checked the tps voltage too

 

And that voltage wwwaaassss? What was the closed and open voltage?

 

My guess is it may not be seating right.. Possibly..

 

The voltage was .5 closed and 4.0 wot, not seating right?

had to replace mine like 5 years ago.
forget about ebay brand x or blox (another f u to blox for not replacing crappy
brand new parts 8( ). running a dorman now and it's great.
did i mention f u blox?
