looking for a cure for my 1997 Honda ACCORD EX-R.lots of static

 

It is either a bad ground on the radio or the radio frequency suppression has failed/fallen off of the alternator. Has any work been done on either lately? From www.howacarworks.com a search for

"An alternator or dynamo not fitted with a suppressor will produce a whining sound, rising in pitch as the engine speed increases."
