Default Jdm b16a trans non LSD

I have a b16a with matching tranny in my ej.When I first got the car (already swapped) I could rip through the gears, regardless of how high the rpm etc. Not that I was constantly power shifting it every day, as I was relying on it for a daily, But I did more than not.
Anyway 20k mi or so later, the trans is starting to show its age. At first it only 5th gear at high Rpms, it wasn't exactly grinding out loud but it would crunch in my hand going in. Low Rpm shift (below say 6500rpm) it goes in fine. That was the beginning, shortly there after upon cold starts I need to pump the clutch to get it into first gear at a stop light (weird though, when I first start it it goes right into gear,But when I come to my first few stops I have to pump to get into 1st.)Then I'd get the high rpm crunch going into 3rd,and sometimes it wouldn't go into 2nd (warmed up and power shifting, never while driving normal).

With all that being said,I changed the slave cylinder last week and it seems to have gotten a little better, still doing the 1st gear thing and crunching (not as much) but no missing 2nd anymore.

I have a new master cylinder and poly shifter bushings waiting to be installed,JW if what I have going on could be more of a clutch problem or tranny problem.
. Thanks

If you were shifting without using the clutch yes it will have issues.

It also depends on how you shift, the RPM you shift at, the fluid you use and age of fluid, and the age and condition of the transmission when you took possession of it. Wear from fast shifting isn't linear, high RPM shifting wears parts at a much higher rate than typical low RPM slow shifting.

Indeed.
At risk of turning this into a synchromesh thread, I'm flushing and putting Pennzoil SM in this weekend.
