I picked up a 2001 Civic for my grandson. The a/c clutch spins and makes a rattling noise sometimes and then stops spinning other times. If the a/c button on the dash is in the on position, the compressor makes a rumbling sound, if off, the clutch rattles. Both sounds are rather loud, and I am sure that despite it not having effect on the car running right now, I suspect this will eventually seize up. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks in advance.
