ok, same as others on here. crv starts right up when cold and does not die. but after it is warmed up and running around town, i go to start it and will not start. it acts/smells like it is flooded. turns over like crazy but does not catch for a very long time. just about the time i think i am going to run down the battery it catches and struggles to start and does. blowing black smoke and smelling of fuel. had it in to the honda dealer and they could not get the problem to repeat. they changed a bunch of stuff, wires, distributor, rotor, air cleaner, a relay, 1400 bucks later and it is still doing the same thing. fuel pump?
