Icon6 2003 BMW M5 - 16K miles

*** SOLD! ***

Hey guys- It's not a Honda, but my 2003 E39 M5 is for sale. It has 16K miles and I've recently gotten all the maintenance addressed that was needed from it's lack of mileage over the last 14 years. The exterior and interior is about as close to new as possible for a car this old. I've decided to sell it auction-style on Bring a Trailer. It is a fantastic site if you're not familiar with it. They have had some pretty nice ITR's and S2K's lately in fact. Anyway, I won't repeat everything here, but all the history, details, vin, carfax, tons more photos, etc, are there on the site. Mods, if this type of listing is inappropriate, well, I guess you know what to do, haha. Otherwise, thanks for looking and let me know what you think. Wish I could keep it. Amazing vehicle.

Sweet car and you are absolutely cleaning house on BAT.

I can look at the cars but I cannot read the cringeworthy comments on that site. Good luck with sale!

Thanks! Heh, well I'm not cleaning house by any stretch yet, but I hope to do okay when it's all said and done. Little anxious right now to be honest. But, there are still a couple days to go and these auctions sometimes have most of their action in the last few hours. I just really want this car to go to an enthusiast who will put some miles on it!

And I agree, some of the comments are definitely cringe worthy. Trying to have a thick skin and be polite as possible. The worst are the guys who have never bid or auctioned a single car in years of membership there, and 95% of their comments are negative. Get a life already.

At $38.5k, that's doing pretty amazing imo. The car is worth it, BaT is the place to sell it. It'd be harder to sell your car at the proper market price on auto trader or something.
