So I know the efs have a 56.1mm center bore and ive got some rims that have a 57.1mm center bore, my question is theres only a difference on .5 mm on all edges, is this worth putting a hub ring on? I seen someone say wrap electical tape around the hub a few times, has anyone done this?

 

Have you looked for a set of huncentric rings?
i guess the electrical tape would work. Seems sketchy to me though.

 

In theory, you should be fine. I have VW steelies with winter tires which have a 57.1 mm bore and they were fine for the speeds I was doing.

If you were to blast on the lug nuts using a gun, you might run into issues with the wheel being off center. If you hand tighten the lug nuts and wiggle the wheel around, the wheels should center themselves on the lugs.

 

Alright after more research of my own I determined the rings use conical lugs to center the rim, removing the need for a ring
