help w/ "First start up" on ignite yellow+ ID2000s. k20
Maybe I stepped over my head, but I've got the car almost ready to run on pump 91/4 in it's N/A form to get the charge piping made. But my big concern is once that's made and the car is ready for it's actual tune, i'll have to throw the ID2000's and put the ignite yellow in. to run the ID'a I'll be swapping the injector plugs that came with them. I don't want to spend a bunch of money getting the car down there(2hr drive) only to realize, "ohh **** it doesn't even start". I have K-pro v1 or so i'm told but could go buy v4 if needed(?). So far it's just been me this whole build, no outside help so I've got to ask here, and I need your suggestions.
i'll post the specs:
k20a2
ID2000s
6266
ktuned 90mm manifold
Sheepey mani+ hood exits
tial v60
kpro-v1(?)
-8AN feed + return lines
walbro 450

You don't really have a choice. You can either,
1) keep the stock injectors with a basemap tune of somesort via KPro from your tuner or an e-Tuner and head to your location , then spend some time swapping the ID2000s / Harness clips at the tuner or (if they can do it) pay to have the installation done.
2) Tow it to the tuner without any basemap and be ready to spend some time getting the car to idle with the tuner.
Either way, those are big injectors to work with, so, you're damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Thanks Shodan. That's what I was afraid of, I'll go in and ask what they'd prefer, i'd rather do the work myself and save a bit of money. It has to be towed either way, I wasn't able to plate it, thus no insurance.
