Introducing/help
Hello everyone im new to being a member but not so new to the site cause Honda tech has help me a lot over the last 5-8 years on cars but I became a member cause hoping that other members could help me with the issue I'm haveing (sorry for the long post) back in march I bough an all original 91 Acura Integra gs in the 3rd owner and have. Not had any issue till about Tuesday so Tuesday morning I get up and I drive to the store about 15 mins away and come back no issue til I came back and was about to park my idle dropped down to 200 so I reg it a lil bit and it goes back to normal idle so I finish parking well before I shut it off it drops down to 200 rpms and shuts off and it wouldn't start back up for about 30 mins and it would only run for like 30 sec like it's missing so I ended up having to take my wife to work and kids to school so it sat for an hour and all I come back and it started up and it ran for about a half hour well I was about to head to work and all so I wanted to make sure it was cool before i would get stranded so I reg it a few times and all is good so right when I'm about to pull of I reg it to 4500 rpm one last time well I let it come down and when it came down it went to 200 rpm and shut off and would fire again so I'm thinking it's fuel check everything and had pressure so I'm still lost and the only thing I did to it was on Sunday did an oil change new cap and new roter well they didn't have the cap so I put everything else on and. I issue till this happen so I go back to the store and buy another roter and more plugs well this time I got the cap so I put everything on and it fired up and runs so after about an hour and a half of it running and driving I get this backfire and popping like it's misfiring but it's not bogging the moter down or anything and it does it while at idle and while driving and I have no cel or anything I'm lost at this point has anyone had this promblem or now how to fix it thanks for any help or input
