Default Fuel Strainer Help

Hello, I'm wondering if anyone is using a
Walbro TIA485-2 450 LPH Walbro TIA485-2 450 LPH
in their CRX. I'm now on my 2nd strainer and am having sputtering issues badly. I believe I'm using an Airtex strainer with 180 degree elbow(included with my pump I believe) and I think perhaps it's sucking in air through the elbow. So I'm just wondering if anyone has this same setup and has had good luck with different strainers. This will be my 3rd attempt with this pump, I thought the current strainer would work great considering how low it looked like it was going to sit into the tank but...nope.
