Does the rear suspension have a radius arm and control arm or r they the same thing have a friend whom her husband says itsays the rear radius arm broke please help she starting a new job at va Tech

what I want to know is how the hell do you break of radius rod, or a control arm? lol. I've crashed my lude into a solid rock cliff at 73mph, and though it folded the wheels in about a foot, it didn't break either of those parts.
