Default Any guides on changing positive battery cable?

I plan on replacing the corroded terminal. I have a new positive terminal with 2 screw on 8 gauge openings. Can I cut off the corroded wire and just plug in the bare wire into the new connections without issue?

What do you mean by two screw on connections? any pictures?

Aslong as it is a real automotive battery terminal you cant go wrong. Just check it for tightness whenever you get the car serviced
