Default 94 Accord EX F23A

Hello, I would like to know why is the D4 light Blinking and the check engine light is not on? Is there a way to diagnose the D4 blinking? Could this be maybe a failed Sensor. I also noticed on the MPH Gauge the needle doesn't move accordingly with the actual speed I am driving.

You may need to replace your vehicle speed sensor. You can short the diagnostic plug and count the D4 flashes and get your code.

If you have a 94-97 CD/CE Accord there is a two wire blue connector under the center of the glove box door.
Pull it down, jumper it.
Turn ignition to II(ON) and watch the CEL or D4 lamps for any blinking(codes)
Record codes, post back here.
VSS can be taken apart and cleaned up if it is faulty.
