I think I need to replace the back hatch on my '90, as the threaded part where the gas struts screw in is broken off inside the hatch. Does anyone know if the 88-89 hatch is compatible with 90-91 cars? Or if there's any way to repair the part that broke off? Thanks for any advice guys!

 

yes, you can fix it. well, not necessarily YOU, but a person that can weld can fix it. but it will involve paint afterward too, which if you're replacing the hatch would have to happen anyways I suppose.
