Default 90 EF Hatch with GSR Brake Conversion

Hi guys,

Recently bought a 90 EF Hatch with an all around GSR brake conversion. One of the lower ball joints is bad and I was deciding on replacing all of them to just knock it out rather than just replacing the single bad joint.

Question that I have is, what lower ball joints do I get for this brake conversion? Not much of a Honda person... thanks in advance.

Can anyone else help clarify? I'll be more elaborate.

The 1990 Honda Civic DX Hatchback has a GSR brake conversion all around. I'm not sure and to fond of Honda's/Integra's to understand. My lower and upper ball joints in the front are bad. What ball joints do I need to order so my problem can be fixed? Please provide the year as well! :D

Thanks!

There is no acceptable "GSR brake conversion" for an EF.

If your using the front knuckles from a DC Integra, they're ruining your suspension geometry.

That being said, if you insist on continuing using poorly compatible parts on your car, why wouldn't you think the ball joints from and EG/DC chassis would be the right replacement? Seems obvious.

Okay, so if there is no "GSR brake conversion" for an EF, then why does my car have that setup? It has discs all around when an EF is supposed to have drums in the back. I'm just looking to get the part fixed, so can you help or not? Really need to get this part fixed.

Okay, so to clear the air.. what year of EG/DC ball joints can I use?
As I stated before, I wouldn't know what correct parts to use to the fact that I have no knowledge of Honda/Acura parts. I am Toyota owner and this is my first EF/Honda.

take a pic of your knuckles. i dont know which knuckles youre using, and sounds like you dont either....

im reminded now that GSR was also available DA integras. was thinking DC only. my bad.

buy and research parts at online dealers like majestic, hondapartsnow, hondapartsunlimited, or hondas own e-store. they should fill up the first page of any google search for honda parts....

It's okay, I was just paranoid that my cars suspension might've been to total crap since you said that earlier but thanks for clarifying now. I will take a picture later and quote you again to get back to this discussion.

Thank you for your time, I really appreciate it.

Okay, so I'm confused on another part and need help.

My rear wheel hub assembly for the GSR brake swap is giving me trouble to find. Can anyone help find one for me? I have the thread stud size of 12x1.5mm and I need one to get attached to the rear of my gsr brake swap.

see the attached!

Please see the above posting with my attached images. I'm having a very rough time trying to fix this problem.

no, i will not help you find a new hub. go to a dealer and buy one. if you need help looking up part numbers, the dealer will help you. wtf are you asking me for?

the rear hubs are all the same for rear disc brakes anyway. and they will come with the bearing integrated to it.
