Default Nyc emissions

What's up guys, I was wondering if anyone knows how I can pass the yearly emissions test In NY. I have a 97 civic with a b20vtec running on a 95 gsr ecm. Any info would be appreciated thanks.

What is the NYC emissions process? I know it varies from state to state.

If they don't dyno the car if it's obd2 and just plug it in and read the computer to pass, then you might be able to pass your emissions with a b-series OBD2 ECU.

If they dyno the car regardless of OBD, then you will have a lot harder time as your 97 is an OBD2 car and you can't use OBD1 status/testing for the car legally in any state.

No more dyno it's plug into obd2 link and read monitors, it's a high compression motor with bigger injectors no cat and using a vafc to manipulate the fuel air ratio even if I hooked up a obd2 ecm and cheated the ckp to get it to run, I don't think it would run right enough to set monitors
