Default 2000 Accord f23a vtech A/T to H23a vtech A/T

I am new to the Honda scene. My previous experience with cars has been the Chevy Muscle car stuff. (More bolts than wires)
I have since grown old and need something I can drive daily. I purchased a 2000 Accord and will do an engine swap. I had planed on just getting the same F23a1 to put back in, but now after reading some threads on the H23a vtech I want to try it.
I have looked over many threads and have a good idea of what I am looking at.

My questions are
Is it possible to get this swap to pass emissions?
Is there any current threads on this swap that have any new tech or ideas? It seems like all the threads I read are dated.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

This is a daily driver that I want to have just a little fun in. Nothing crazy

To pass the sniffer, yes.
To pass the visual, no. H23 'Bluetop' was never offered in a USDM vehicle, thus never federally or state approved.
Bluetop was also OBDII only, JDM had a few differences in sensors. Notably transmission sensors use a different attachment vs USDM.
You will need to check with your local emissions test center to see if they will have any problems with the swap.

If you are doing an emissions legal swap there really is no other way to do it than as it has been done.
There really is no 'update' to the swap as the emissions legal swaps involve transferring over the needed parts from the donor vehicle to yours. There is no aftermarket or 'kit' support outside of CARB/EO components that are already in existence for a given factory stock vehicle. The only thing that may be troublesome is if the factory H23 PCM is used and your local emissions test requires the PCM to handshake with the testers diagnostic equipment it may not work. JDM, EDM and USDM PCMs have slightly different communication requirements. An H22 PCM from a 5th gen Prelude would work, but the VE/Timing/Fuel tables would be all wrong for the H23, and finding a quality tuner that could copy/paste the H23 tables into the H22 PCM may not be easy depending on location. And it's still an H23.
Get engine/trans/harness/PCM from donor car, swap it into your car. Minor changes such as fuel rails differences, exhaust and other nuances as posted in the various threads and off you go. If you can repin and splice/solder connections you can probably use your own harness for the swap.
