I have a blown head gasket and was wondering if it's worth fixing the engine or just do a swap. And if a swap is better what engine would you recommend? I want to keep it at automatic as this is an everyday car and have no plans of racing it. I do want to restore the vehicle like a new paint job and upholstery just so that it looks new again. So would a newer D-series like a D17a be good? Please let me know and thank you for your ideas.
