Default P72 Questions- Knock sensor and poor idle on closed loop

I have a P72 ECU running a H23A1 (non-VTEC) motor. I've been tuning it over the past few weeks on the street using CROME, Freelog, and an AEM wideband gauge. It's not perfect but it runs smoothly. I have it idling at 900 RPM to smooth out the 260 cam.

Couple questions:

1 - Whenever I try to enable my knock sensor, I get a check engine light. I had my knock sensor working correctly with my P13 ECU (stock H23A1) before I swapped ECUs. What gives?
2 - Car runs fine in closed loop except for terrible idle. It idles at 750 RPM despite me adjusting the idle RPM table to 1100 RPM. I tried adjusting the IAC compensation with little success. I also tried to force open loop at low RPM but that didn't work either. Car feels like it will stall.
3 - I get a CEL whenever I enable the O2 sensor heater (even though it's a 4-wire sensor). Works fine without it but takes awhile for it to warm up.

I've considered just leaving it open loop but it seems like closed would be better if I can get the idle working. Any suggestions?
