I recently got a dc2 integra from a buddy of mine that has an h22 motor swap. He gave me an h23 head for it. Is it significant enough to do the swap or is it not worth the trouble? Thanks y'all

 

Is your H23 head a VTEC head or non-VTEC head ??? If it is the latter, why would you even consider making the swap to a less powerful head package ???

 

It's vtec sir common now... I'm not very knowledgeable about import cars but I wouldn't ask about how to make the car slower.

 

So, you want to change the head why then ??? Just for the intake manifold ??? I would say not worth the trouble.

 

Although there is some debate as to whether this is truly the case, some say that the newer (2000-2001) Blue Top H23 motors use the Euro-R PDE head. This head features a mild porting job similar to the B18C5. Because of this, this particular head may be good for some exta power on an H22A vs the stock P13 head.
