there might be hundreds of forums on same topic but I could not find specific problem like mine.
i have honda civic 2008 LX 2 door car. The car has been wrecked but airbag not deployed. Since then the airbag light is on.
I have tried to get the error code through honda specific scanner at honda dealer, but the computer is not communicating. I am thinking the module has some problem.
There are few videos on youtube to reset airbag light by jumping airbag connector underneath steering. Not sure if it will work for me, coz may there is some real problem not just faulty light.
Honda dealer is askinv too much for just diagnose. Please let me know if any mechanic or agency can help me in this situation. I dont want to do it by myself and ruin some electronics in which I am nlt good at.

Why are they asking for money to diagnose if they can't pull the code ? Don't go back to them.

Find a mechanic to pull the code. You can find good quality mechanics with good reviews on Yelp.
