feels a bit weird
I own a 94 rs, great car, anyway the last few weeks it's been feeling weird when I steer or when I'm driving straight on uneven roads
took it to my mechanic who drove it on the highway and insisted I needed new shocks (74k+ miles) No Problem
One of my buds who works at a shop after he gets off from the day job pushed down on the car and said my shocks felt fine, no bouncing, but that I might have a leak and that could be causing the weirdness, what I wanna know is when turning the car would I feel this weird feeling because of the shocks? reason I ask is that I backed up out of a parking spot and when I turned the drivers side wheel felt funny, all in all the car feels loose and I'm wondering what to do
oh yeah btw: how much labor is involved in slapping those energy suspension red rubber bushings into the front suspension setup? because here in pothole central, every little thing makes a difference

From what I understand on the energy suspension installation, life is made MUCH easier with a press to get the old parts out, and new parts in. I have been considering this for a bit now, but I have heard that it makes the ride pretty harsh if this is your daily driver.
As far as it feeling weird when turning, try going to a big parking lot somewhere and do some S turns, switching from one direction to another fairly quickly. If it feels as if the car dips lower to one side than the other, I would think that it is a seal problem with one (or more) of your shocks. Pushing down on the car is a hard way to tell if something is funky. (Pushing with a few pounds from your hand versus the weight of the car transferring to the bad area = huge differences in the amount of pressure to the suspect area.)
EDIT - P.S. When your car is sitting on a level surface, does the car look level when looking at it?
